Every time I tell myself this is it, I'm lying to myself just like a kid. Saying they want to grow up, they'll grow to look back on that fact and cherish youth just as much.
I'll grow to regret wishing for more knowing times will change, I can't see this as lost hope. Wisdom and experience come with age, and youth provides the illusion of both.
My eyes never pictured an image so graceful, falling for you was inevitable as meeting death is ever faithful. I've held this moment since it's passed, I wanted you first and gave up last.
A CHILD WISHING TO GROW UP WILL GROW TO WANT YOUTH JUST AS MUCH WE CAN'T SEE OURSELVES AS LOST HOPE AGE BRINGS WISDOM AND EXPERIENCE YOUTH PROVIDES THE ILLUSION OF BOTH.
Leaving you was part of moving on There's no going back only moving forward. I said I'm finished and swear I'm done, I may grow to regret this but I look forward to whats to come.
Lunchtime doubly so.
